As things evolve, you’d want to have access to a course that gets regularly updated and stays up to date and relevant.
Affilorama doesn’t seem to pass this test with flying colors.
It hasn’t been updated in years.
Student success stories that can be verified are nowhere to be found and the forums are not active.
Even the Affilorama YouTube Channel is not up to date with the last video having been published 5 years ago.
Since the course hasn’t been updated, can it still be relevant?

Scrutinizing their tools and courses, I noted their SEO Backlinks Report’s underreporting compared to industry giants like Ahrefs and Ubersuggest.
The Rankings Checker, though promising, fell short in its monthly updates and limited tracking capabilities.
Furthermore, the Social Monitoring feature paled in comparison to more versatile alternatives like Cyfe.

Free Training & QuickStart Guide
It consists of a combination of 100+ video and text lessons and a QuickStart guide.
Sadly, they are outdated.
What they teach might have worked in the past, but it is no longer relevant.
Avoid using what they teach as you might end up hurting your own site.
For example, in their website building software, WordPress is nowhere to be found and some of the website builders they are recommending like Artisteer do not exist anymore.
They are even recommending hand coding.
Which beginner affiliate marketer would a website via hand coding nowadays?
Doing a little digging, I found that the content was produced back in 2008.
This explains why it is so outdated, full of broken links and recommended tools that no longer exist.
The main focus of the free training is to identify and promote products on ClickBank that is a marketplace that is rather controversial as it is full of products that are questionable.
No wonder why Clickbank is losing more and more products.
I viewed the latest activity in the Affilorama forum you get access to with the free training.
I wasn’t impressed. It is not as active as I expected and the response rate is low.
They don’t even delete spam comments.
Let’s move on to the QuickStart guide.
This is a PDF file that you can download for free upon signing up.
It is a decent guide to affiliate marketing so if you have to choose one thing from the free training, choose this guide.
Another aspect that I liked, was that when they recommend tools, apart from their own tools, they also recommend other tools that sometimes are even free.
For example, for keyword research, they recommend AffiloTools but also Ubersuggest that is free to use.

Pathway To Passive
Pathway To Passive is a short course that is more applicable to beginners in affiliate marketing or more experienced affiliate marketers looking for solutions to issues they might be facing such as lack of traffic or low conversion rates.
It could be your starting point, but some parts are outdated. Not as much as the free training though.
Here is what they teach:
- Niche and product research
- Topic and keyword research for traffic generation
- Visitor conversion into buyer
- Content creation
The topics are not covered in depth, but I wouldn’t expect that for a $37 course.
The lessons seem to have a logical structure and are easy to follow.
What is strange is that there is no video content, so you’ll have to read the material and rely on their word as there is a limited number of practical examples.

The course is priced at $ 37 but you can get it for $19 if you sign up for a free Affilorama account. This way you get a discount.

AffiloTools
AffiloTools is a suite of premium online tools made for marketers that unfortunately, seems to be stuck back in 2013.
SEO Backlinks Report
Its main feature is the SEO backlinks report.
However, I found that it underreports backlinks compared to both Ubersuggest and Ahrefs.
There is a free AffiloTools version that provides you with 1 backlink report daily but underreports the backlinks and does not differentiate between referring domains and backlinks.
Rankings Checker
Rankings Checker is another popular feature of AffiloTools.
Like the SEO backlinks report, Rankings Checker underperforms its free alternatives.
It only updates once per month, the number of keywords you can track is limited and cannot really see changes in rankings.
Social Monitoring
Social Monitoring is the next feature we’re going to cover although by now, you can probably guess what the outcome is.
Yes, you guessed right. It is not as good as its free alternatives.
What Social Monitoring does, is to integrate with your Twitter account and Facebook Page and give you an overview of your likes and follows.
You can also publish posts from AffiloTools and get content suggestions.
This tool is of no use as you can use free alternatives such as Cyfe and get even more functionality.
Link Finder
Link Finder aims to help you generate backlinks in a better and faster way but honestly, this is not really the case.
Its filtering functionality doesn’t work very well. You end up getting a list of sites simply mentioning your keyword. You’ll even find YouTube and Wikipedia listed.
AffiloTools Price And Discount
You can get started with AffiloTools for free or get the paid version from $17 per month.
Personally, I would use neither versions.
There is no discount of AffiloTools I could find.

AffiloTools hasn’t been updated since 2013 and doesn’t offer any functionality that you cannot get with other free tools such Google Analytics or Ubersuggest.
If you using ClickBank however, you might find some use in it as it integrates with the marketplace allowing you have all your stats in one place.

AffiloJetpack is Affilorama’s high ticket product.

In most cases, there is no reporting of any earnings.
They just talk about how Affilorama is a great course and that it has changed their lives but they do not talk about how much they are making implementing what they have learned from it.
They even list testimonials from a decade ago.
Moreover, extensive research into Affilorama’s offerings revealed significant insights into its efficacy.
